Solid sorbents are the future of carbon capture, and this is why:

piping system

Higher energy efficiency

With solid sorbents, CO2 release is performed more efficiently and with less energy

porous wall

Lower degradation

Solid sorbents are extremely robust and exhibit reduced degradation relative to alternatives

Steel pipes

Reduced corrosion

Most solid sorbents are not corrosive and do not require specialty stainless steel process equipment

industrial zone

Resistant to SOx, NOx & other impurities

Most solid sorbents are resistant to SOx and NOx, so they don’t require upfront purification of flue gas

Factory

More environmentally friendly

The majority of solid sorbents do not degrade and lead to toxic byproducts emissions

Frequently Asked Questions.

What is carbon capture technology, and how does it work?

Carbon capture technology is a process that captures carbon dioxide emissions from various sources such as power plants, industrial facilities, and even the air (DAC). The captured CO2 is then utilized or transported and stored underground, preventing it from entering the atmosphere and contributing to climate change. Our company specializes in developing innovative carbon capture solid sorbent technology tailored to the unique needs of industries worldwide.

Carbon capture technology offers several benefits, including:
• Emission Reduction: By capturing CO2 emissions, carbon capture technology helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate change.
• Environmental Stewardship: Our carbon capture solutions contribute to environmental sustainability by preventing CO2 from entering the atmosphere and reducing air pollution.
• Industry Security: Carbon capture enables industries to continue using their processes, while developing decarbonised practices.

Unlike most carbon capture technologies that use liquid chemicals, Dotz’ carbon capture technology utilizes self-developed solid sorbents for CO2 capture. We utilize our expertise in synthesis and surface chemistry to engineer nano-porous materials with unique pore volume, size, and distribution specially designed for effective carbon capture. These sorbents provide enhanced efficiency, reduce costs of carbon capture, and minimize environmental impact.

Carbon capture solutions are applicable to various industries, including:
• Power Generation: Coal-fired power plants, natural gas facilities, and other energy producers can benefit from carbon capture to reduce emissions and comply with environmental regulations.
• Oil and Gas: Carbon capture technology can be used in oil and gas production to capture CO2 emissions from extraction, refining, and processing operations.
• Manufacturing: Industries such as cement, steel, Aluminum, pulp & paper, and chemical manufacturing can implement carbon capture to reduce emissions and enhance sustainability.

Carbon capture plays a crucial role in achieving carbon neutrality and addressing climate change. By capturing CO2 emissions and preventing them from entering the atmosphere, carbon capture technology enables industries to reduce their environmental footprint and transition towards a sustainable, low-carbon future. Our company is committed to advancing carbon management solutions that support global efforts to combat climate change and preserve the planet for future generations.

While carbon capture offers significant benefits, it also presents challenges such as high initial costs, technical complexities, and regulatory uncertainties. Our team of experts is dedicated to overcoming these challenges through continuous innovation, research, and collaboration with industry partners and stakeholders. We remain committed to developing cost-effective, scalable carbon capture solutions that address the evolving needs of our partners and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.

Carbon capture technology is essential for achieving net-zero emissions goals by capturing CO2 and significantly reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions. As industries and governments worldwide commit to reducing their carbon footprint, carbon capture offers a viable solution for emissions mitigation while transitioning to a sustainable, low-carbon economy.

Investing in carbon capture technology offers significant long-term benefits, including:
• Environmental Impact: Carbon capture technology helps mitigate climate change by reducing CO2 emissions and preventing them from entering the atmosphere, leading to limited temprature rise, cleaner air and a healthier environment.
• Economic Growth: By investing in carbon capture technology, businesses can create new revenue streams, enhance energy security, and drive innovation, contributing to sustainable economic growth and job creation.
• Regulatory Compliance: As governments implement stricter environmental regulations and carbon pricing mechanisms, investing in carbon capture technology ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizes financial risks associated with carbon emissions.
