Michael Shtein, Ph.D., MBA
Co-Founder & CTO

Entrepreneur with over 15 years of managerial and R&D experience, Dr. Shtein is an expert in commercializing academic concepts to products and is a co-founder of several Nanotech and Biomed companies.

Dr. Shtein holds a Ph.D. in Nano technology interdisciplinary studies from Ben-Gurion University, together with an M.Sc in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.

Before founding Dotz, he was the Chief Material Engineer for the Israeli Ministry of Defense and has developed several new materials and compounds. 

Shirley Shoshaney-Kleiner
CMO

Shirley holds nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and communications for technology-rich companies operating in B2B global markets, driving these companies to industry leadership and growth.

Prior to joining Dotz, Shirley was Marketing & Communications Manager at aquaculture technology specialist – AquaMaof. Before that she worked with a range of defense companies, as well as the Israel Ministry of Defense (MoD).

Shirley holds an MBA specializing in Sustainability from the University of Haifa and a BA in Communications and Political Science from the Hebrew University.

Mr Malka is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years of strategic, operational,
commercial and financial leadership in innovative technology companies.

Prior to joining Dotz, Mr Malka served as Chief Executive Officer of MediWound Ltd, a Nasdaq-listed
biopharmaceutical company. Prior to that, he was a partner at Variance Economic Consulting Ltd., a multi-disciplinary consulting boutique, specialising in financial services for international and local Hi-Tech clients. 

Mr. Malka is a certified CPA and holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Business
Management College in Israel and an M.B.A. from Bar Ilan University, Israel.

Liat Bar Ziv Alperovitz

Ms Bar Ziv Alperovitz brings more than 20 years of financial management experience with global public companies and start-ups.

Prior to Dotz Liat served as a CFO at Endospan Ltd, an endovascular medical device company and as a CFO of Anagog, a SaaS based start-up. Before that Liat served for more than a decade at senior financial management positions with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NASDAQ: TEVA).

Liat is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Israel, holds a BA in accounting and economics from Haifa University and LLM degree from Bar Ilan University.

She now divides her time between her role as a director of Dotz Nano and Octomedia, and as a mentor for several start-up companies which she has invested in using her extensive business experience and studies in the areas of sustainability, psychology and coaching.

Glenn Kelly has over 35 years of operational, business development and strategic leadership in the natural resources and clean technology sectors. Mr. Kelly holds an Honours B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from Laval University.

He started his career in oil and gas exploration for Chevron Canada Resources. Mr. Kelly then undertook to develop underground storage of natural gas in Eastern Canada, as founder and President of Intragaz Inc. He was then named President of Rabaska Inc., a $1 billion LNG import terminal project, after which he was named President and CEO of CO2 Solutions, which developed proprietary carbon capture technologies used for greenhouse gas reductions. In 2013 he was named Vice-President and COO of Orbite Aluminae, a producer of high purity alumina used in the fabrication of lithium-ion batteries. He was promoted to President in 2014 until the sale of the company to an Australian mining company in 2019. Mr. Kelly now serves on various boards and acts as a strategic consultant to technology companies.

Mr. Board holds an Honours B.Sc. degree in Economic and Social Sciences from University of Sydney and an EMBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Mr. Board also holds an Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Engineering Certificate from Stanford University School of Engineering. As Chief Investment Officer and Head of Markets at Climate Friendly, Mr. Board is responsible for the management of one of the world’s leading carbon removal portfolios and growth of the company’s customer base.

He is a Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Computer Science, and Professor of Materials Science and Nano-Engineering with 30 years of experience, first at the University of South Carolina followed by his present position at Rice University, Texas, USA.

Dr. Tour has over 600 research publications (with an H-index = 123) and over 120 patents, with total citations over 69,000.

Dr. Tour was listed in “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds” by Thomson Reuters ScienceWatch.com in 2014. He won the NASA Space Act Award in 2008 for his development of carbon nanotube reinforced elastomers as well as over a dozen prestigious scientific awards over the past decade.

A specialist with more than 30 years’ experience in the development and marketing of advanced technology products.

Mr. Tulipman has experience in global multi-disciplinary companies across product planning and management, business plan establishment and execution and roadmap development. This includes nine years in three divisions of Kodak, five years each at KLA -Tencor and Haifa Chemicals, and most recently at Stratasys (3D printing) and Kornit Digital (textile digital printing).
